The choker pulls the neck clip tight up against the valve and holds it in a consistent position, perfect for attaching sidemount cylinders. The choker goes around the valve and thru the gate to hold it up tight against the neck on the curve if the cylinder so the gate of the clip lays up against the neck of the cylinder.
