Saft LS14500 Batteries are, high-powered batteries aimed at industrial use. The same size as a standard AA battery, Saft LS14500 batteries have a nominal voltage of 3.6V and use lithium-thionyl chloride (Li-SOCI2) which results in much higher capacity. Designed to delivery a stable voltage through almost 100% of the battery's life, and a self-discharge rate of less than 1% over prolonged storage periods.
Watch out for "equivalent" batteries; they are not all equivalents.
The SAFT LS14500 has a current discharge rate of 130mA. Only use the correct battery as indicated by the manufacturer unless you are sure of the equivalency. Some functions of the handset can pull a large amount of current, such as the alarm screen indication which can exceed the maximum recommended continuous current of the wrong cell.
